De Zavala Middle School has announced the first teacher of the month for the 2011-2012 school year. The well deserving teacher, Mr. Robert Grote, wears many hats at De Zavala. He serves as the the technology "whisperer", teen leadership captain, campus comedian and all around great teacher. Event photo follows.
