<span style="color: #000000;">To assist parents who need time to holiday shop without their children, South Belt is offering a "drop-and-shop" opportunity this Friday from 6 to 10 p.m. at the school.&nbsp;The cost is $10 per child or $25 for a family. The service is limited to South Belt Elementary students. Students will be treated to a dinner, movies and games.</span>

           <title>SOUTH BELT ES: Turkey Trot Fun Run Set for Nov. 13</title>

               <![CDATA[South Belt Elementary is planning a Turkey Trot Two-Mile Family Fun Run on Nov. 13 at the school. The event is scheduled to start at 9 a.m. and end at noon.

Registration cost is $5 with each entrant receiving a T-shirt. Families may register for $20 and receive four T-shirts.

A raffle will be held for gift baskets. Tickets are $1 each. Businesses will set up in the parking lot for families to visit after the race.

The school will conduct a canned food drive at school from Nov. 1-12 to benefit local families. Classes will compete to see which can bring in the most canned food items.]]>
